The game begins with each player receiving a secret card: one wolf, one or two doctors, and the rest villagers. Players close their eyes upon instruction. The teacher announces, “The night is dark, the moon is full, and the wolf wakes up. Wolf, open your eyes,” allowing the wolf to choose a victim. Next, the doctors wake up to save someone. If the doctors fail to save the wolf’s victim, that person is eliminated. Afterwards, players discuss and vote on who they believe is the wolf. If they guess correctly, the village wins; if not, the game continues. Eliminated players cannot vote or close their eyes in subsequent rounds.
